At Omokoroa Pet Vets we aim to provide the local community and beyond, high quality veterinary service within your own home and in our clinic. We believe pets become part of the family and we wish to provide a family-focussed veterinary service for your pet family member.

Nick and Raewyn Sygrove met at University and have worked as a team through studying to become veterinarians and are dedicated using their collaborative approach to give pets in their care gold standard treatment.

Dr Nick Sygrove BSc BVSc

Dr Nick brings 15+ years of veterinary experience and skills from working in Hong Kong, and study in Australia and China to Omokoroa and beyond. His knowledge and compassion will provide the highest quality care, all in the comfort of your own home. He has advanced training in veterinary ultrasound and is a skilled surgeon. He is well known for his sense of humour, down-to-earth approach and warm bedside manner to pets and their owners.

Dr Raewyn Sygrove BSc BVSc MVM

Dr Raewyn is passionate about veterinary knowledge and has engaged in several advanced studies and completed a Masters of Veterinary Medicine (with Merit) since graduating from Massey University in 2007. Raewyn has developed advanced skills in veterinary medicine, radiology and emergency care and is excited to provide exceptional service to the community under Omokoroa Pet Vets.

Veterinary Nurse and Customer Care

Caitlin Smillie

Caitlin is a qualified veterinary nurse, graduating in 2018. She shares her life with a border collie 'Anastasia' and rough collie 'Jovi'. She has a special interest in canine behaviour and enrichment and enjoys spending time with nervous pets to warm them to clinic experiences. Her intuitive nursing skills and excellent customer care are an asset to Omokoroa Pet Vets.
